The article title and content suggest you are providing readers with a comparisson between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce.com CRM. Yet the article doens't provide any real comparisson between the two, or describe why Microsoft should be favored over Salesforce.com.

SCALABILITY: Salesforce.com CRM is also a scalable architecture, allowing their customers to add additional user licesnes, storage capacity, or sites bandwidth, as needed.

RELIABILITY: Salesforce.com is SaaS solution, all infrastructure in the cloud. You've listed this as a benefit for choosing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, but provided no data to suggest the hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution is more reliable than Salesforce.com. In fact, I couldn't find any data about the availability of MS Dynamics, whereas Salesforce provides them on their site: http://trust.salesforce.com/trust/status/

FLEXIBILITY: Salesforce.com allows users to easily customize their CRM implementation, as well.

REDUCED COST: Here is an area were you could build a case for favoring Microsoft Dynamics CRM, because it DOES have a lower entry price point for users vs. Salesforce.com. However, it also has less functionality. Salesforce has some compelling features that make it very attractive, even at it's higher price point: Chatter (included unlimited, free chatter licenses for the entire company), the ability to build custom / integrated websites quickly (without any additional software/hardware investment), an enormous library of custom applications available on the Salesforce App Store, significantly better innovation / feature adds year after year, etc.

I do believe there are some customers who would benefit from implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM (vs Salesforce.com), but for none of the reasons you've listed here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
